Pakistan and England faced each in the fourth game of the seven-match T20I series in Karachi. The game marked the end of the Karachi leg as the teams will now play the rest of the games in Lahore. Talking about the fourth game, the Three Lions won the toss and elected to bowl first. The home team's opening pair, skipper Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan stitched a partnership of 97 runs.

The team was expected to get a big total on the board. However, after Azam's wicket, the team failed to accelerate with San Masood only 21 off 19 balls. Even Azam and Rizwan had their difficulties while batting. Thanks to Asif Ali's two sixes, the team reached a respectable total of 166/4. Rizwan scored an unbeaten 88 off 67 balls. Talking about England bowling, Reece Topley took two wickets while Liam Dawson and David Willey took one each.

It was a case of 'Came close but yet so far' for England

In reply, the visitors got off to a poor start as they lost three wickets till the end of the first two overs. Phil Salt (8) started well with two boundaries in the first over before he got greedy and caught at deep midwicket by Mohammad Wasim off Mohammad Nawaz. Alex Hales and Will Jacks went down to Mohammad Hasnain in the next over.

At 14/3, Ben Duckett and Harry Brook looked like carrying their good form from the last game. Both players scored above 30 but failed to convert it into a match-winning score. Duckett (33) was the fourth wicket to fall as he was trapped lbw by Nawaz. Skipper Moeen Ali and Brook added another 49 runs before the former became the third victim of Nawaz.

Harry Brook scored 34 before being caught at fine leg by Hasnain off Wasim. David Willey's (11) wicket at the score of 130 meant that Pakistan would win the game easily. However, Liam Dawson (34) pull the game back for his side only to be disappointed in the end as the team lost the remaining three wickets and lost the game by three runs.
