The Caribbean Premier League (CPL) 2023 is set to consist of six teams for this edition, Saint Lucia Kings, Jamaica Tallawahs, Barbados Royals, Trinbago Knight Riders, St. Kitts, and in the end, the Nevis Patriots. Jamaica won the last edition, and it was their third title. Now, they will enter the coming season as the defending champions. A total of 34 games will be played, and the final is scheduled for September 25.

The West Indies cricket cash-rich league will be played across six veneers. As fixtures, every team will have another team for at least five teams. As expected, there will be another blockbuster season with international celebrities and fans all over the world for the upcoming CPL season.

Here is the list of teams according to their bowling performance in CPL 2023:

1. Guyana Amazon Warriors

The Guyana Amazon Warriors will likely have the best bowling lineup in the season; they have four key bowlers, Keemo Paul, Romario Shepherd, Odeon Smith, and Migael Pretorius.

2. Trinbago Knight Riders

With Sunil Narine, Akeal Hosein, and Noor Ahmad in their ranks, the Trinbago Knight Riders possess a formidable spin attack. Narine’s mystery spin, coupled with the young talent of Hosein, can create a spin web that can confound even the best of batsmen.

3. Jamaica Tallawahs

Jamaica Tallawahs have a decent bowling line-up with the likes of Mohammad Amir, Imad Wasim and Chris Green are expected to be a formidable attack as they would be hoping to defend their title this time.

4. St. Kitts & Nevis Patriots

The St. Kitts & Nevis Patriots have a mix of all varieties of bowling attacks with frictions of pace and spin. The spin duo of Sheldon Cottrell and Oshane Thomas can be dangerous with their deliveries to beat the batters.

5. Barbados Royals

The departure of a fast bowler to St. Kitts and Nevis Patriots might have depleted the team’s fast bowling resources, potentially posing a challenge in maintaining a well-rounded bowling attack.

6. St.Lucia Kings

The St. Lucia Kings will have a lack of experience in the fast-bowling department, as one of the key weaknesses in the St. Lucia Kings squad is the absence of an experienced fast bowler except for West Indies star pacer, Alzarri Joseph.
