As he prepares for the 16th edition of the Indian T20 League, former Bangalore captain Virat Kohli shared a picture of his 10th class mark sheet and it's inspiring fans. Kohli, who is currently in the Bangalore camp, posted his CBSE marks list on Thursday and received hundreds of comments with fans calling it inspirational.
Kohli joined the Bangalore franchise in 2008 at the age of 19, unable to complete his further studies after 12th standard like many other cricketers due to his passion for cricket. However, the 34-year-old has become a global superstar with his batting prowess over the years.
The former India captain shared his mark sheet on the Koo app with the caption, "It's funny how the things that add the least to your marksheet, add the most to your character." The picture showed that he had passed the 10th standard in 2004 from Savior Convent School in Paschim Vihar. Kohli's marks in multiple subjects like English, Hindi, Science and Technology, Mathematics, Social Sciences and Introductory IT (Information Technology) were revealed in the post.

Bangalore eye maiden IPL trophy
The upcoming edition of the Indian T20 League will begin on Friday, March 31 at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad when defending champions Gujarat take on four-time champions Chennai. Meanwhile, Bangalore will kick off their 2023 season campaign against Mumbai on April 2 at their home ground, Chinnaswamy Stadium.
Since the inception of India's men's T20 league, the franchise has been trying to lift the coveted trophy but every year they have disappointed the fans. However, they had a decent run in the last two years, finishing fourth in the points table last year.
With Virat Kohli returning to form after facing the worst phase of his career in the last few years, the franchise will be hoping that their run machine along with captain Faf du Plessis will lead the team to lift their maiden title. They have quality players in the squad including star all-rounder Glenn Maxwell and No 1 ODI bowler Mohammed Siraj.
Bangalore 2023 squad: Virat Kohli, Glenn Maxwell, Mohammad Siraj, Faf Du Plessis, Harshal Patel, Wanindu Hasaranga, Dinesh Karthik, Shahbaz Ahemad, Rajat Patidar, Anuj Rawat, Akash Deep, Josh Hazlewood, Mahipal Lomror, Finn Allen, Suyash Prabhudessai, Karn Sharma, Siddharth Kaul, David Willey, Reece Topley, Himanshu Sharma, Manoj Bhandage, Rajan Kumar, Avinash Singh, Sonu Yadav, Micheal Bracewell
