Manchester City created history as they clinched yet another Premier League title. This happened after they did not need to play a match to win the title. They ended up winning the title with three games to go in the league. This was confirmed after Arsenal went down to Nottingham Forest on Saturday. The solitary goal of the match was scored by Taiwo Awoniyi in the 19th minute. With this loss, Arsenal cannot get ahead of City in the title race.
City had their place confirmed in the Champions League final. They got to the summit clash after they floored Real Madrid 4-0. City now have chance to do an impressive tremble. City now have won the Premier League but will still have two more titles to play for. They will go up against Inter Milan in the Champions League final. They will face their namesake rivals Manchester United in the FA Cup final which will take place on February 3rd.
Manchester City still have three games left in the Premier League
City will play against Chelsea on Sunday. City have 85 points with three games to go. While Arsenal are on 81 points with only one game remaing. This is the seventh Premier League title for City in their history. City are now two wins away from doing the famous treble that Manchester United achieved in 1999. Pep Guardiola's side have had a great run in the Premier League so far.
If City emerge victorious in their last three matches that they have in hand then they will end up on 94 points. City have lorded over this season and have shown their superiority even with three games to go. This reflects City's form in comparison to the other sides in the league which explains the gap between them and the other teams.
Arsenal have had a season in the Premier League to forget. They have won only two of their last eight games in the league. The Gunners have not fared well against City this season as they have buckled under pressure whenever they have faced them this season.
Let us take a look at the reactions on Twitter:
The only thing Chelsea will achieve this season is clapping for man City tomorrow.

To all Arsenal fans, Goodbye. I’ve had a long think about it and I have come to a conclusion that I don’t love Arsenal anymore. I’ve decided to support Manchester City, a real football club. Time to finally watch some greatness. Goodbye

Congrats to City, they are worthy champions. I was betting on Arsenal to win it but that’s football, ‘any team winning the Premier League deserves it. It is a difficult league’_Sir Alex Ferguson.

Arsenal should find themselves an Arab oil country to buy them just like man United are doing following man city, Newcastle and PSG. That’s the way to be successful now.

We start the season well, all through March we are leading the table with 8 points over Manchester city at some point. It is unfortunate we end the season poorly.
