India has done exceptionally well in world events when it comes to boxing. A huge thanks to Mary Kom, who inspired the upcoming generation to take up the sport. Mary Kom was the first woman boxer ever to win a medal for India. This year, at the Commonwealth Games, the Indian boxing team will once again look to win medals for India. Here are some of the players who can do it for India:

LOVLINA BORGOHAIN:

The young and fiery Boxer from India won bronze for the country in the Tokyo Olympics 2020. She was the talk of the town when she won the medal for India at the Tokyo Olympics. The boxer weighs 70kgs and is the best in business at the moment. She would try to emulate the same in the Commonwealth Games 2022. She is one of the boxers to watch out for in the multi-sport event. Lovlina went from Assam to Tokyo to create history. And she will now be in Birmingham and do it again for India.

NIKHAT ZAREEN:

Nikhat Zareen won gold in the 2022 IBA Women's World Boxing Championships. The young boxer now has a big opportunity to make it big for the country. It will be a wait until we see if she can do it for India at Birmingham. She is one of those boxers to watch out for in the Commonwealth Games 2022.

AMIT PANGHAL:

Amit Panghal, another youngster, from Mayna will have his eyes set on the medals. He will try to big and win it for the country at the Commonwealth Games 2022. He is one of the boxers to watch out for in the multi-sport event. And he will surely use his opportunity at the biggest level.

The Indian contingent is young and brave this time. A lot of young boxers have made it to the bigger stage. It has to be noted that Indian boxers have won 37 medals in total at Commonwealth Games so far.
