The SS Rajamouli movie has made India proud by winning an Oscar award in the Best Original Song category for 'Naatu Naatu' featuring Ram Charan and Jr NTR. Although Ram has played a variety of roles on screen, the three Filmfare Award winner expressed his desire to work in a sports biopic featuring ace cricketer Virat Kohli.
During an interview at the India Today Conclave 2023, the Indian actor, producer and entrepreneur was asked to give some quick answers to some fun rapid fire questions. When Ram was asked about his favorite role to play in the future, the actor revealed that he would like to act in a sports film.
"I would like to play anything to do with sport. It's been a long due. Maybe a sports-based film,β Ram said.
The host, veteran journalist Rajdeep Sardesai, further asked if he would be interested in playing the role of former Indian captain Virat Kohli, and an excited Ram did not hesitate to agree.
"Fantastic, he is an inspiring soul. I think given a chance, it will be fantastic as I look similar also," the RRR actor added.

A video that has gone viral on social media shows Kohli shaking his leg for the Oscar wining song during the first ODI of India vs Australia at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. The 34-year-old recently took the internet by storm after sharing a video of him dancing with Norway-based dance group Quick Style.
