KL Rahul underwent successful surgery in Germany and is now preparing to make a comeback to the Indian team. For the unversed, the Indian opener suffered a groin injury that ruled him out from India's T20I series against South Africa and then subsequently against England.

KL Rahul has begun the rehabilitation process for the same. While the fans were expecting an update on him, a video of him batting in the nets circulated on July 18.

The youngster is currently at NCA and a video has been circulating where he is seen facing the Indian speedster Jhulan Goswami. KL Rahul was seen playing a classy cover drive and a square cut in his classy style. This has come as a relief to the Indian cricket fans, who were skeptical of his selection for the series against West Indies. The right-handed batsman averages 41 in 56 T20Is he has played so far. He is one of those very few Indian batters who have added a century to his name in the T20Is.

The video was uploaded by a Twitter user named Tushar, who commented that he was fully fit for the WI Tour. In the video, the Lucknow captain was seen facing former Indian woman's seamer, Jhulan Goswami. The tweet went viral immediately and came as a surprise to all his well-wishers and fans. The all-three format star will look forward get fit to confirm his selection and get off to a bright start in the WI series.

The Indian Cricket team will be hoping to bounce back in the upcoming 20-20 World Cup, given that they were thrashed out in the group stage last year. Having said that KL Rahul is one of the finest T20 batters out there.
