England Test captain Ben Stokes recently had his bag stolen at King’s Cross train station in London. The cricketer took to social media to express his frustration over the incident, where he revealed that his bag contained some personal belongings, including his clothes.
Stokes’s tweet received mixed reactions from users, with some expressing sympathy for him and others making jokes about bizarre ways of finding the lost items. However, regardless of the reactions, the incident highlights the issue of theft in public places.
To who ever stole my bag at King’s Cross train station.

I hope my clothes are to big for you ya absolute ****** 😡
King’s Cross is a major train station in London and is known to be frequented by locals and tourists alike. However, the incident serves as a reminder that public spaces are not always safe, and theft can happen anywhere and to anyone.
As soon as Stokes revealed his anger, Twitter was quick to come up with memes and funny replies to his tweet. Many suggested checking the British Museum while others began pointing out potential thieves from the cricketing fraternity.
One Twitter user who is likely to be a Chennai fan wrote, "Ben Leave that. Yellow Jersey is waiting for you. Really cool outfits."

Stokes recently revealed that he will be available for the upcoming Indian T20 League 2023 season, following the conclusion of his team's last red-ball assignment against New Zealand. Stokes, who was roped in by the Chennai franchise for a whopping sum of Rs 16.25 crore in the mini-auction last year, will be a crucial addition to the squad.
Stokes had a mixed outing in the two-Test series against New Zealand, where England ended up drawing the series 1-1. While the English all-rounder played a pivotal role in the first Test victory, he couldn't bring his A-game in the second Test due to injury issues.
However, with the Indian T20 League just around the corner, the focus will now shift to the T20 format, where Stokes will be a key player for Chennai. The team, led by Mahendra Singh Dhoni, will start their campaign against Gujarat in Ahmedabad on March 31.
