The league stage of Legends League Cricket 2022 is approaching its very end. Speaking of match eleven, India Capitals and Bhilwara Kings locked horns at Jodhpur. It turned out to be a cracker of a match with the Caribbean legend Chris Gayle firing it out for the team. 

However, it was Bhilwara Kings who won the toss and elected to field first. The Irfan Pathan-led team are in fine touch and they faced a fiery Gujarat attack. Gujarat Giants’ opener Chris Gayle looked in great touch and managed to score runs at a quick pace. Despite losing three quick wickets, the Giants managed to amass 51 runs for the loss of three wickets in the powerplay. 

The Caribbean legend fueled the innings further with maximums and took the team’s total to 118 for the loss of three wickets in thirteen overs. However, Gujarat Giants did enjoy a great finish as Yashpal Singh scored a half-century and powered the team to 186.

Speaking of Bhilwara Kings’ chase, William Porterfield played a steady innings to keep the scoreboard ticking. The Irish star took his time in the middle and joined hands with Morne van Wyk to gather 57 runs in the powerplay. With the latter perishing on the last ball of the powerplay, the Kings started to collapse right away, making things easier for Gujarat Giants.

However, Jesal Karia ensured that he held the fort at the other end and remained unbeaten. The end overs were all about the former and Irfan Pathan as the duo pushed things for Bhilwara Kings against mighty Gujarat Giants. The veteran all-rounder played a few classy shots at one end while Karia backed him up at the other.
