Former England bowler Sarah Taylor and her partner Diana Main revealed her pregnancy on February 22, expecting baby in 19 weeks

Former England bowler Sarah Taylor and her partner Diana Main revealed her pregnancy on February 22. Taylor posted several photographs of sonograms and a picture of Diana on Instagram, along with a picture of the pregnancy test, and said that the kid would probably arrive in the next 19 weeks.

"Being a mother has always been my partner's dream. The journey hasn't been an easy one but Diana has never given up. I know she will be the best mum and I'm so happy to be a part of it. 19 weeks to go and life will be very different! So proud of you," she wrote in the post's caption.

Sarah Taylor has been phenomenal throughout her career for England as she has won two 50-over World Cups in 2009 and 2017. She also represented England in the 2009 20-20 World Cup. The wicketkeeper-batter played 126 ODIs for England, scoring 4056 runs at an average of 38.26. She has seven hundred and twenty fifties in the format.

She has also earned 90 T20I appearances, scoring 2177 runs at an average of 29.02 with 16 fifty-sevens. In 2018 former Australian wicketkeeper-batter Adam Gilchrist called her the "best wicketkeeper in the world, male or female."

England Qualify for Playoffs of Women's World Cup

England, under the leadership of Heather Knight, topped Group B in the ongoing Women's 20-20 World Cup and advanced to the semifinals with 8 points after winning all four games in the tournament. Sune Luus and South Africa, who placed second behind Australia in Group A, also advanced after beating Bangladesh Women's by 10 wickets in the last league game.

Although, England and Porteas have met each other 23 times in the shortest format of which England has won 19 games. In the 20-20 World Cup England has beaten South Africa 3 times out of four encounters. On the other hand, the Indian Women's team will take on Australia in the first Semifinals on Thursday.
