Bangladesh all-rounder Nasir Hossain, who last played an international game in January 2018, is facing corruption charges along with seven others connected to the Pune Devils franchise in the Abu Dhabi T10 tournament's 2020-21 edition. The charges come from the International Cricket Council's anti-corruption unit (ACU) and involve co-owners, coaching staff, and players.

The individuals involved are Nasir, Krishan Kumar Chaudhary, Parag Sanghvi (both co-owners), Rizwan Javed, Saliya Saman (domestic players), Ashar Zaidi (batting coach), Sunny Dhillon (assistant coach), and Shadab Ahamed (team manager) are the individuals facing allegations. The Pune Devils' participation in the Abu Dhabi T10 League in 2021 marked their final appearance in the tournament, where they struggled, winning only one of six matches in the Super League stage.

The accused have a two-week window, starting from September 19, to respond to the charges. This development highlights the ongoing efforts to combat corruption in cricket, emphasizing that no one, regardless of their role in the sport, is immune to scrutiny when it comes to maintaining the integrity of the game. Nasir Hossain's association with these allegations is a significant development in his cricketing career, marking a stark contrast to his earlier days representing Bangladesh in international matches.
