Team India won the second ODI against West Indies by two wickets. Axar Patel played a stunning knock of 64 runs in just 35 balls to ensure India tasted victory with two balls remaining in the match. The left-handed batter won the game by hitting a six on the fourth ball of the last over. With this win, India also sealed the ODI series 2-0, with one game left to be played.

Following India's win, Indian skipper, Rohit Sharma heaped praise on Axar Patel's batting heroics. Sharma took it to his Twitter handle to appreciate Axar Patel. In his tweet, Rohit appreciated Axar with a Gujarati phrase.

“Woah 🤯 that was some performance from team India last night. Bapu badhu Saru che @akshar2026 @bcci” Rohit tweeted.

Now, the India's left-arm all-rounder also came up with a response. He replied to Rohit Sharma's Tweet and it didn't take too long to get viral.

The all-rounder said “Badhu saru che rohit bhai 😎 thanks.. cheers 🤝” in a tweet replying to the India captain.

When India required 6 runs off the last 3 balls, the batter slammed a six and sealed an unlikely win for India in the second ODI. Earlier, Shai Hope scored a century and helped West Indies post a total of 311 in the first innings.

In pursuit of the total, India had lost half of their side for 205 runs on the board. The likes of Shreyas Iyer and Sanju Samson scored respective half-centuries but couldn't convert that into big score. West Indies had the upper hand in the game at that stage but Axar Patel had other ideas.

With India under pressure, Axar Patel showed exceptional maturity and took his team home. He played an unbeaten sensational knock of 64 runs in just 35 balls, including 3 fours and 5 sixes.  Team India will be playing their final ODI of the series tomorrow at the same venue.

India won the first ODI by three runs. The second ODI turned out to be a thriller too. And no wonder, we are in for a thriller in the third ODI as well.

Right after the ODI series, we are in for an exciting five-match T20I series. Team India will play five T20Is against West Indies. Rohit Sharma will make a return to lead the side.
