The Indian skipper Rohit Sharma, who is in the United States of America (USA), gave a hilarious response when asked to name the toughest Pakistan bowler. Rohit is known for his one-liners and sarcastic comments. The 36-year-old recently featured in India's tour of the West Indies in Test and ODI formats, in which India won the longer format of the game by 1-0 and the white ball series by 2-1, currently he is not playing the T20 series and is on vacation with his wife, Ritika Sajdeh.
Sharma and Virat Kohli are not playing the five games T20I series as Hardik Pandya is leading the side. So far, the Men in Blue have lost back-to-back matches in the 20-over fixture. Sharma has a few weeks of rest as he gears up for the Asia Cup 2023 campaign, which begins on August 31. Sharma, on his USA tour, has launched the cricket academy to inspire the next generation.
All the pacers in the Pakistan team are equally good: Rohit Sharma
"Pakistan team mein sab ache hai. Mai kisi ka naam nahi loonga. Bada bada controversy hota hai (All the pacers in the Pakistan team are equally good. I will not pick any individual. It creates a big controversy)," Rohit answered the reporter's question on the toughest Pakistani bowler he faced.
"Ek ka naam lete hai toh doosre ko acha nahi lagta. Doosre ka lete hai toh teesre ko acha nahi lagta. Saare hi ache hai (If I take one player's name, the second will feel bad. If I take the second player's name, then the third will feel bad. I think all of them are good)," he further added.
Interestingly, Rohit's wife, Ritika Sajdeh, was also present during the event and burst out laughing when she heard the Indian skipper's answer. The video has gone viral on social media, instantly attracting fans all over the world. Whereas in the last clash, the Rohit Sharma-led side won the last-ball thriller against the Pakistan side in the 2022 T20 World Cup.
