England are touring Pakistan for a Test series after 17 years and look set to take a 3-0 lead. The security measures have been intensive for both the teams considering this is first Test series held in Pakistan after a long period of time. The 2009 Terrorist attack on the Si Lankan Team resulted in no cricket being played in Pakistan until recently.

The intense security measures have got to the players. Babar Azam the Pakistan skipper did not come on to the field to protest against the tight security measures for the players and families. According to reports, Babar got furious after he was not allowed to go out with some of his Pakistan teammates. Babar had planned to go for dinner with Sarfaraz Ahmed, Azhar Ali, Shan Masood and Inam-ul-Haq.

Babar was given a shock when he was stopped by the security personnel from going outside and that he should have taken permission beforehand because the movements of the players are being monitored. The two sides are also being provided with presidential level security in England.

From the side of the Pakistan Cricket Board they have been silent on the issue and their version of the story is that Babar did not come to ground in the first hour because he had a splitting headache.

According to sources, the players are not happy with the stringent security measures that does not allow them to go out of the hotel without taking permission beforehand. "It is for their own good and Pakistan cricket," one PCB source.

Sources that are close to the Pakistan players are of the opinion that it is perfectly all-right for the visiting side to have such strict security measures but the same should not be imposed on the Pakistan players
