After getting back-to-back defeats in the Super Four stage of Asia Cup 2022, India are on the verge of crashing out of the continental tournament.
Afghanistan on the other hand are still in it but will have to win both matches in order to comfortably get into the final. The upcoming match between India and Afghanistan brings massive importance to both teams.
Let’s look at all the details for the upcoming match:

India have been shooting itself on the foot with constant chopping and changing in the starting XI. So far players like Dinesh Karthik, Ravi Bishnoi, Avesh Khan, Ravindra Jadeja and Hardik Pandya have been benched for different reasons in different matches.
Players like Rishabh Pant, Deepak Hooda and Ravi Ashwin have been brought in and have proved no significant help to the team. Afghanistan meanwhile look settled and would play with the same starting XI after winning two matches and losing the third one. They thumped both Bangladesh and Sri Lanka in their first two matches. Their previous match ended in defeat but the team came out with many positives and would look to emulate those learnings against India.
