Harbhajan Singh, MS Dhoni's former CSK and India teammate, stated that there is no "bigger cricketer" in the country than the star wicketkeeper-batter. India won the 50-over World Cup in 2011 under Dhoni's leadership. Dhoni has also led Chennai Super Kings to four IPL titles and five runners-up finishes.
Dhoni just made IPL history by becoming the first player to captain an IPL side in 200 matches. He is also the most successful captain in Indian history. Harbhajan Singh stated that no one has a larger fanbase than Dhoni ahead of CSK's home match against SRH on April 21.
"Mahendra Singh Dhoni is only one. There cannot be a bigger cricketer than him in India. Someone could have scored more runs than him and someone could have taken more wickets than him, but no one has a bigger fanbase than him," Harbhajan said on Star Sports.
"Dhoni has accepted this fandom to heart and he respects his teammates as well. He walks with so much love and emotion that anyone else would go mad, but Dhoni has carried this love and emotion in his heart for 15 years and he still hasn't changed at all."

Harbhajan also praised batting all-rounder Shivam Dube for his striking abilities, stating the Chennai Super Kings place a high value on such players. The former off-spinner also stated that Dube should be given more chances at the top of the batting order.
"Shivam Dube's hitting range is tremendous. Whenever the ball comes into his hitting arc, he dispatches it for a biggie. CSK banks a lot on players with such qualities. Shivam should continue to get opportunities to bat at the top," Harbhajan said.
In the meantime, Chennai Super Kings have a 3-0 record over Sunrisers Hyderabad in Chepauk. They currently stand third in the points table with three wins in five games. On the other hand, SRH stands in ninth place with two wins in five games.
