Amidst divorce rumours, Shoaib Malik pens heartfelt note to Sania Mirza on her birthday

India’s poster woman in Tennis, Sania Mirza, and Pakistan Cricketer Shoaib Malik have been making headlines in the news amid a lot of speculation that has come about on social media with regards to their marital status.

It was reported from the Pakistani media that there was a thaw in the power couple’s relationship and that their four-year-old son Izhaan Mirza Malik is being co-parented by the couple. When the reports came out in the open, Malik faced a lot of ire from the fans for giving her the cold shoulder.

Things started heating up after Sania put up a post on her Instagram story which said “Where do broken hearts go? To find Allah,” she wrote. Malik was believed to be dating Ayesha Omar at one point, which caused the fans to mount their anger on the Pakistan cricketer.

The Power Couple tied the knot in 2010

A lot was going on for the power couple, and in between all of this Shoaib took to Twitter to wish Sania on her birthday. Here is what he said, “Happy Birthday to you @MirzaSania Wishing you a very healthy & happy life! Enjoy the day to the fullest.”

When he put the post out, the fans could not control their emotions as they lambasted Malik for what felt like he was allegedly cheating on his wife. The couple tied the knot in 2010 and have been married for over 10 years.

Recently, the couple also announced they are starting a talk show. The show will be aired on the OTT platform, Urduflix, which will feature the couple together. The show will be titled 'The Mirza Malik show.'

The power couple has been a great icon for their country in their respective sport as Sania has scaled the number 1 ranking in Tennis in doubles for India. Malik, on the other hand, has been a wonderful servant of Pakistan Cricket for a long time. He continues to be fit even at the age of 40.
