Achraf Hakimi's wife demands half of his assets in divorce, court reveals PSG star owns 'nothing'

Moroccan footballer Achraf Hakimi has become a trending topic after his wife, Hiba Abouk, filed for divorce and demanded half of his property. The divorce drama gained more attention when the court revealed the footballer’s financial situation. Actress Abouk filed for divorce and demanded an equal distribution of her husband's assets, but she later realised that Hakimi legally owns nothing.

According to reports, the Paris St-Germain star had placed all of his assets and funds in his mother’s name, meaning he has nothing in his name. The 24-year-old receives €1 million every month from his current club, but 80% of that sum is transferred into his mother, Mrs. Fatima’s account. Abouk was shocked to learn that Hakimi has no property, cars, residences, jewellery, or even clothes registered in his name.

It has been learned that whenever Hakimi needs something, he asks his mother, who then buys it for him. While some thought it was a wise move by the 24-year-old, others questioned his financial independence and ability to make his own decisions.

Hakimi's alleged rape was the final straw in their divorce

Hakimi and Abouk started dating in 2018, got married in 2020 and have two sons. Abouk, now 36, filed for divorce in March 2023 following an allegation of cheating. She expected an equal portion of Hakimi's €70 million fortune. However, the court discovered that all of his assets are registered in his mother's name, leaving Abouk with no legal claim to the star defender.

The divorce proceedings were initiated last month after Hakimi allegedly molested a woman who had been invited to his matrimonial home while his wife and family were in Dubai.

The Spanish actress revealed that the couple were in the midst of a divorce when she released a public statement defended his husband last month. Abouk believes the rape accusations on his husband were false. However she hinted that it was the final straw in their divorce.

"The accusations are false. He is calm and is making himself available to the authorities. After having taken the decision to legally separate and to stop living together whilst awaiting the divorce procedure, which you can imagine, on top of the pain brought about by the separation, as well as having to accept the sadness that a failed project, which I gave my body and soul, brings, I was supposed to face up to this disgraceful act?," she posted on Instagram.
