Former Indian cricketer Suresh Raina will be featuring in the inaugural edition of the US Masters T10 League and fans will be gearing up to see their favourite star in the USA. The T-10 League will feature veteran players from all over the world, including Raina, Gautam Gambhir, Yusuf Pathan, Shahid Afridi, Chris Gayle, and many others. 

Speaking of Raina, he has played for one of the most successful franchises of the Indian Premier League (IPL), Chennai Super Kings (CSK). He played for 12 seasons for CSK and won four seasons with them in 2010, 2011, and 2018, and 2021. Overall, he has scored 5,528 runs in 205 IPL games at an average of 32.52 and a strike rate of over 136, including a century and 39 fifties.

Interestingly, the league is taking inspiration from the popular franchise cricket league, the Indian Premier League (IPL). There are a total of six teams battling it out in the group stage to make it into the play-off round. After the group stage, the two teams will fight for a spot in the finals in Qualifier 1, then they will face the winner of Qualifier 2 in the Eliminator. 

Suresh Raina last played in the IPL in 2021 edition 

The six teams will be playing in Central Broward Regional Park, namely Central Broward Regional Park in Florida. Six teams, namely the New York Warriors, New Jersey Triton's, Atlanta Riders, California Knights, Morrisville Unity, and Texas Chargers, will participate in the inaugural edition of the US-Masters T-10 league. In the end, Cricket may not be the most popular sport in the United States, but it can be the most potential to be the most followed sport in the country.

There has also been investment from different sports personalities of America like the National Football League (NFL), stars Kayvon Thibodeaux and Mickey Moniak, and from Major League Baseball outfielder Mickey Moniak and National Basketball Association (NBA) star Maxi Kleber in the cash-rich cricket league. The opening game will kick off between the Atlanta Riders and the Texas Chargers on August 18 at Central Broward Regional Park Stadium Turf Ground, Lauderhill.
