Road Safety World Series 2022 looks like a tournament to watch out for as the games are turning out to be thrillers. In match 14 of the league, India Legends and England Legends contested against each other which was a must-win encounter for both teams.

Speaking of the toss, England Legends called it right at the toss and elected to field first. However, a rain interruption forced it to be a 15-over encounter between the two sides. Sachin Tendulkar, the hero of Indian cricket, proved that he still has it in him and got off to a flier. India Legends were heavily dependent on their skipper and it more or less paid off.

The Indian great smacked as many as three maximums in his stay and crumbled for 40 runs off 20 balls. India Legends put on a total of 67/1 at the end of the powerplay. Speaking of the middle overs, it turned out to be a decent one for the team until Yuvraj Singh found his touch back.

Once the southpaw started hitting boundaries, he was unstoppable and the Three Lions’ veterans gave up too easily on him. India Legends ended up amassing a total of 170 for the loss of five wickets. Sachin Tendulkar and Yuvraj Singh outclassed with the bat for the team.

Yet another win for India Legends in Road Safety World Series 2022

Commenting on the chase, England Legends got off to a decent start with Phil Mustard taking on the bowlers. However, it turned upside down for the team as India Legends’ bowlers bounced back to post the powerplay. The veterans from England amassed 51 runs in the powerplay and looked clear of winning the match.

Rajesh Pawar produced a brilliant spell and bagged a three-for to keep things under control for the team. A late flourish from Chris Tremlett proved to be unworthy for the team as they lost the match to India Legends by 40 runs. Sachin Tendulkar proved his worth yet again and the Twitter went crazy right away. Here we bring you a few of the interesting reactions from fans on Twitter:
