The Caribbean Premier League 2022 is witnessing some thrillers at times amid low-scoring matches. Speaking of match 25 between Guyana Amazon Warriors and Jamaica Tallawahs, it turned out to be a high-scoring game. The Tallawahs won the toss and elected to field first. 

It turned out to be a poor decision as the Warriors had a decent powerplay despite losing three wickets. The team managed to put on a total of 37 on board and looked positive. Shai Hope, as the name suggests, was the hope for Guyana Amazon Warriors in the middle overs. 

The team crumbled in the middle overs and remained at 104 for 7 at the end of the seventeenth over. While many expected them to reach 120, Odean Smith had other plans for Guyana Amazon Warriors. The aggressive pacer smashed as many as five maximums in the eighteenth over and took the team to 135. However, that was not it, as Keemo Paul joined the party at the other end and the duo powered the team to a total of 178 at the end of the first innings. 

Guyana Amazon Warriors scored as many as 74 runs in the final three overs alone and looked in great confidence.

It turned out to be a one-man chase for Jamaica Tallawahs. The chase was all about Brandon King, who held the fort till the very end of the innings. Speaking of their powerplay, it turned out to be a great one as they lost only one wicket after scoring 49 runs against a fiery Guyana Amazon Warriors pace attack. 

Guyana Amazon Warriors' bowlers kept toying with the Tallawah's batters and kept putting pressure on Brandon King. He looked rock steady at one end while wickets started falling at the other. The batter tried to score as quickly as possible and get the team home. However, the frequent wickets at the other end stopped him from firing at times and King had to think otherwise. 

In the end, Brandon King brought up his century in the final over and tried to clinch the match. With fourteen runs required off the last five balls, the Warriors emerged victorious by twelve runs.
