The ODI World Cup 2023 is set to begin on October 5, and India will be hosting the event for the first time solely in the 13th edition of the tournament. The Indian cricket team has also announced the 15-member squad for the marquee event, and some big names are back in the squad after recovering from injuries. Rohit Sharma-led team will definitely be the top contenders for lifting the trophy, along with defending champions England and Australia, who are also favourites for the 50-over World Cup.  

It is pertinent to mention the announcement for the provincial squad for the World Cup 2023, starting on October 5 and ending on September 5, while the teams can make changes to their squad by September 28. Virat Kohli is the only player present from the Men in Blue's successful triumph in the 2011 World Cup.
