3 Women Wresters Who Can Make Surprise Comeback In Royal Rumble 2023

Arguably, the biggest event in WWE, the Royal Rumble competition for its 35th iteration is all set to take place on January 28, Saturday. It will have two matches, a men’s and women’s match, both featuring 30 wrestlers each. 

As many as 30 female superstars will take on each other for a championship at the event. After witnessing an abysmal Royal Rumble last year, a lot of WWE legendary names have been asked to make a return. 

In this article, we take a look at three veteran wrestlers who could be making their return at Royal Rumble 2023. 

3. Paige

While the 30-year-old wrestler hasn’t confirmed anything as of now, she is touted to be one of the stars who might be making her comeback. Last year, she was trending on the internet prior to the 2022 Royal Rumble even but she opted out of the same. Paige could well make a surprise entry in the 30-woman Royal Rumble match. 

2. Nikki Bella

Nikki Bella, last year, announced that she would be making her return in Royal Rumble 2022. At the namesake event on January 29, she made her entry at #24, eliminating Alicia Fox and Sarah Loga. She was later, eliminated by her sister Brier. 

Bella hasn’t made any appearance since the big event. Ahead of the Wrestlemania 2023, she could once again took everyone by surprise by making her presence felt in the event.

1. Lita

WWE Hall of Famer Lita marked her return to the Royal Rumble match last year for the first time since 2018.. She entered at the match at #26. Following the event, the legendary star also took to her Twitter account and thanked all her fans for cheering for her. 

At the event, she was eliminated by the Charlotte Flair. Ahead of the Royal Rumble 39, she could once again be seen making competing in the ring.
